Sometimes the first step is simply recognising what has changed.
We’ve brought together a selection of practical resources to help you pause, notice patterns and better understand what may be happening.
These tools aren’t intended to diagnose menopause or replace individual healthcare advice, but they may help you identify what you’re experiencing, consider what you need, and have more informed conversations about what comes next.
Menopause Symptom Tracker
Menopause can affect people in different ways, and symptoms can change over time. Tracking what you are experiencing can make patterns easier to recognise and give you a clearer picture of what may have changed.
Our free Menopause Symptom Tracker provides a simple way to record and reflect on your symptoms and can also help support conversations with appropriate healthcare professionals.

Recognising What’s Changing
The Greene Climacteric Scale
The Greene Climacteric Scale is an established 21-item questionnaire used in menopause research to explore the severity of psychological, physical and vasomotor symptoms.
This is an adapted version supplied by the Australasian Menopause Society. This symptom score can be used to document symptoms and monitor response to treatments and help identify patterns that may be worth discussing with an appropriate healthcare professional.
It should NOT be used to diagnose perimenopause or menopause.
Perimenopause commences when menstrual cycle changes occur, with differences in length of consecutive cycles.
Menstrual cycle changes cannot be used to diagnose perimenopause or menopause for people using hormonal contraception, or who have had an endometrial ablation or hysterectomy.

Pause, Reflect, Landscape
A Midlife Check-In
Menopause doesn’t happen separately from the rest of life. Work, relationships, caring responsibilities, identity, health, expectations and changing priorities can all be part of the landscape.
Pause, Reflect, Landscape: A Midlife Check-In provides an opportunity to step back and consider where you are now, what’s taking up capacity, what may have changed and what you might want from the next stage.

Recognising What’s Changing Is a Beginning, Not an Endpoint
A symptom tracker can help identify patterns. A questionnaire can help put language around an experience. Reflection can help us see the wider landscape.
The next question is often: what do I do with what I now know?
That’s where MenoAgility goes further. We look at what may help, what might be getting in the way, and what can realistically be adjusted across the individual, workplace and wider environment.

A Moment to Pause
Sometimes what we need isn't more information, but a little space from it. Learning to use your breath can help you ground yourself during those menopause moments when life feels like it's spinning at a million miles an hour.
Practising how to use your breath in a focused and purposeful way, to still yourself, tune in and create a little space between you and everything competing for your attention, is a skill worth honing.
Try one of our guided meditations below, or explore the full collection when you need somewhere to pause, reset and reconnect.
For a Deeper Dive
Menopause may be part of the landscape, but it rarely exists in isolation. How we have been shaped by others, how we relate to ourselves, the pressure to continually improve, and how we navigate relationships and responsibility can all influence how we experience periods of change.
The Adaptable Sustainable Psychology Collection explores these wider influences through four books designed to help you know yourself, work with yourself, find a more sustainable relationship with growth, and extend that understanding into your relationships with others.
Music To Meno By
Sometimes we need information and strategies.
Sometimes we just need a really good song.
Music can help us connect with emotion, express what we can’t quite find the words for, shift our mood, or simply escape into another space in our minds for a while.
Music to Meno By is our growing collection of MenoAgility tunes, including The Menopause Mystery and Staying Sane, created to bring a little humour, recognition and shared humanity to the menopause experience.
We also encourage you to curate your own Music to Meno By playlist: songs that make you laugh, let you cry, get you moving, help you release something, or simply support you through the harder days.
Because some days the most useful thing you can do is turn the music up.
